- Get in touch with me first and foremost.
- Once you have chosen your collection package, we’ll chat about your dreams, preferred colors, and
desired fonts. Your vision is my guide. We can go through the options for printing also i.e. paper type, paper size, lamination, double sided or single printing, the finishing cut (i.e. upper arch, square etc) and much more. - I’ll weave your ideas into beautiful invitations, save the dates, and more, drawing
inspiration from our conversation, bringing your ideas to life. - At this point, you’ll receive a draft for your review. We’ll fine-tune it together until it feels
perfectly “you” before we go any further. - The designs are then ready for printing, along with any of those luxury finishes touches.
- Finally, get ready to celebrate with stunning, personalised stationery that reflects your love story on your special day.
I will ask you to contact me if you think the designs aren’t as expected, but please send me a picture, as it could be an issue with the printer, or it could be an issue with the design. I will then advise on how to proceed.
If YOU have chosen a package that does not include a printing option, please contact your printers in the first instance.
The overall cost of a project is determined once the final requirements have been decided upon. This allows me to assess the scope of the work and then allocate the necessary resources in order to complete the project. I will send you a quote after we have had a discussion to ensure I have gathered all of your wants and needs. In the mean time, you will see starting prices within the collection options above.
The time to complete your project depends on how intricate and involved it is. I will give you a time frame before we start, but be sure to mention any specific deadlines you have in mind.
The company I use for printing tends to take anywhere between 1-2 weeks for printing. They can sometimes be a little quicker than this, but it depends on how much work they have on, and how quickly they can get things done. There is an option to upgrade some items for a faster delivery.
To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit is needed ahead of time. The final 50% will be due once the project is finished. This split payment structure ensures my commitment to providing high-quality service and your investment in the project’s success.
For printing needs, I may request the printing costs upfront alongside the 50% deposit.
You will receive the final wedding stationery in their printed state. If you have chosen to customise your stationery, i.e. with a wax seal, I will receive the stationery from the printers, then add the extras, then send these to you.
You can still receive the design files if you so wish. Please just ask.
I have been asked before, “Gabrielle, how can we keep the cost down for our wedding stationery?”. Below are the things you can choose wisely which will affect your costs:
- Paper selection: Don’t underestimate the impact of paper. You can find beautiful, affordable options. Let’s chat about the choices I have available, and my preferred paper options (which are varied in price).
- Fancy cuts: While they add a touch of elegance, and really fun and different, simple designs can save you money. Consider what matters most to you.
- Quantity: This sort of goes without saying, but the more you order, the higher the cost. Be sure to only order what you need (plus a couple of extras, just in case you have forgotten and Aunt or Uncle).
- Custom finishes: Luxe finishes are gorgeous and really add that extra special detail to your wedding stationery, but they come at a price. Let’s discuss if they fit your budget.
Generally, one invitation per household is enough. This applies to couples and individuals as well.
To be safe, it’s a good idea to order a few extra invitations (around 5-10) in case of:
- Changes to your guest list
- Lost invitations in the post
- Miscalculations in how many invitations you need
These extra invitations can be used as keepsakes or given to your wedding photographer as they can create a beautiful arrangement for photos. Remember, ordering more invitations later can be expensive, so it’s better to have a few spares upfront.
Due to Copyright restrictions, these prevent me from copying an already existing design directly, however, I can definitely use it as inspiration to create wedding stationery unique to you and your personal style.
The printing supplier that I use prides itself on being sustainable and eco-friendly. This is one of the reasons I decided to use them for wedding stationery printing.
They offer different paper and card stock when it comes to sustainability, and they are continuously looking for new ways to improve their eco-friendly approach.
