A Great Day For A Flat Lay Wedding Stationery Styled Shoot

A few weeks ago, I did a wedding stationery flat lay styled shoot, and it was amazing!

I got a little team of some absolutely fantastic wedding suppliers together to help me get some beautiful and professional photographs taken of my wedding stationery designs.

I have wanted, and needed, to do this for a while, but have rarely found the time to do so. I really needed to make these photos a priority to be able to show all the collections I have on offer when it comes to wedding stationery, and the extras that can be added onto the invitations, save the dates etc, to add a little extra touch. This includes wax seals, ribbons, vellum paper and much more.

I decided I did not want a huge team of people, but I wanted to be able to showcase a few other wedding items such as some smaller and delicate flowers, and some stunning hair pieces.

I first met all of these wonderful people at the Pretty & Punk wedding fair in Somerset earlier on in the year.

Jake

Jake and I had already heard of each other, as later on that week we went and did a styled shoot together in Langport, Somerset, at a lovely wedding venue called Hurds Hill. We hit it off that day, and the friendship has really blossomed from there.

I asked him to be the photographer for this flat lay styled shoot, as when I saw the photographs he took during our styled shoot at Hurds Hill, it really struck some emotion in me. His work truly encapsulates everything you could possibly want from a photograph, which I think is hard to find in a photographer.

Kelly

Kelly and I didn’t get the opportunity to speak to each other at the wedding fair we both attended, but we then met again at a wedding suppliers meet up, and we got on really well! We met up for a cake and a coffee afterwards, and she gave me lots of brilliant insights into the wedding world.

Kelly spoke to me about doing a flat lay styled shoot for my wedding stationery, and gave me some great pointers on how to progress with this. She is truly brilliant, and her floristry is absolutely breathtaking. She presents her flowers in such a way that fits into anything and everything.

Sarah

I approached Sarah at the wedding fair, as I was taken back by how beautifully stunning her bridal hair accessories were. It is so clever to produce such wonderful pieces of jewellery. I took an instant liking to her, and knew that when the idea of a flat lay shoot came up, that I would want her involved.

Sarah and I, although not creating the same designs or items for weddings, wanted our work showcased more within this shoot, as during the bigger wedding styled shoots with the dress, the suit, the venue and so on, the smaller things can get a little lost, so the pair of us wanted our designs showcased here.

How Many Wedding Stationery Sets?

So, as some of you may have seen from my social media posts, I have created ALOT of wedding stationery suites, and I tend to post one item from these suites each week.

Well, there are currently…12 COLLECTIONS.

All of these are part of my Semi-Bespoke Collection that I offer for wedding stationery.

The Semi-Bespoke Collection is something that I felt would be a good idea to offer potential wedding couples, as this is a collection of wedding stationery that has already been designed. Therefore, you are able to then change the colours and wording of these designs, and personalise them for you and your wedding theme.

This will also decrease the cost. If I am creating something from scratch, which I offer in the Bespoke Collection, this is going to take me more time to produce, which will cost more money.

With both the Bespoke and Semi-Bespoke collections available, I want to ensure there’s a perfect fit for every couple’s budget. So, lets delve into the Semi-Bespoke collections, and the incredible photos that were taken on this day:

A Huge Thank You

Jake did yet again another amazing job capturing my wedding stationery designs, along with Kelly’s beautiful flowers, and Sarah’s breathtaking bridal hair accessories. All of this really brought my stationery designs to life in these photos.
